Assembly
Be careful not to lift up the back cover of the device by accident when detaching the cover for
the micro SIM and memory card slots. The back cover should not be removed in any
circumstances.
Don’t confuse the micro SIM card slot with the memory card slot. Inserting a card in the wrong
slot could damage both the card and your device.

To insert the micro SIM card

Detach the cover for the micro SIM card and memory card slots.

With the gold coloured contacts facing down, insert the micro SIM card into the
micro SIM card slot.

Re-attach the cover.
To insert the memory card

Detach the cover for the micro SIM card and memory card slots.

With the gold colored contacts facing down, insert the memory card into the
memory card slot, then re-attach the cover.
To remove a micro SIM card
1
Detach the cover for the micro SIM card and memory card slots.

Press the relevant micro SIM card inwards and then release it quickly.

Re-attach the cover.
To Remove the Memory Card
1
Detach the cover for the micro SIM card and memory card slots.

Push the memory card inward, then release it quickly.

Re-attach the cover.
You can also remove the memory card without turning the device off in step 1. To use this
method, you must first unmount the memory card under
Settings > Storage > Unmount SD
card next to , and then follow the rest of the instructions above.
